Coaching Robust Partnerships and Relationships is a two-day workshop equips coaches to work with clients to enhance their business, workplace and social relationships.
In this workshop you will be introduced to coaching human relationships through GCI’s four relationship lenses: vision and purpose, communication, rank and intra-personal experience.
Your acuity and coaching precision will be honed as you learn to track the communication signals within each client’s narrative, detecting double signals or mixed messages that undermine trust or signal internal conflict. You will learn to harness these signals to help clients achieve new insights. Your refined ability to track verbal and non-verbal signals will prove an asset when rehearsing challenging interactions with clients.
A unique feature of GCI’s coaching approach is its attention to obvious and sometimes underestimated power and rank dynamics which can influence the capacity to engage others and to achieve one’s full potential. Exploring comparative power in a range of relationship situations will develop your capacity to work with individuals on common psychological and social barriers to robust relationship.
Coaches undertaking this workshop will be introduced to proven methods for preparing clients for challenging conversations and will gain confidence and skills in facilitating these discussions, where appropriate.
This workshop will enhance your own capacity to cultivate a coaching relationship built on trust and deep rapport. You will be encouraged to experiment with a range of coaching styles to cultivate your own flexibility and resourcefulness as a coach.
The insights and skills gained in this program can be applied to individual, leadership and team coaching.
