Human relationships act as a powerful stimulus for our development. At times this stimulus is welcome, while at other times it presents as an irritant in the form of interpersonal tensions, fears or conflicts.
Tension and conflict often emerge when individuals and systems approach an edge. For instance resentment can result when we’re reluctant to speak out and ask for what we want, while other conflicts act as the ‘straw that breaks the camel’s back’ forcing us to make long overdue changes in our lives. While some disputes legitimately involve others, many reflect internal tensions that the client may or may not be aware of.
In this workshop you will learn to coach clients to discover fresh insights into the deeper story behind their conflict. You will learn how to help clients achieve greater distance from their own story, in order to see the bigger picture and even recognise the role they might play in the development and escalation of conflict and disputes.
Based on the principles of Deep Democracy, neuroscience along with conflict and dispute resolution principles, this workshop will equip you to coach others when emotions run high and clients struggle to think clearly. This workshop equips coaches to foster clients’ insight into their own behaviours and their impact on others, thereby developing their social, instinctual and emotional intelligence.
Exploring the dynamics of bullying and abuse, this workshop will refine your understanding of power and rank dynamics, equipping you to work with individuals to address the misuse of power.
This program cultivates meta-skills essential for any coach working with clients who have become ‘stuck’ or polarised. By cultivating your own appreciation of the growth and development that business, workplace and social relationships can demand, you will learn how to engender in clients a sense of curiosity as a precursor to new insights and ways of relating under pressure.
